Christine Hartland


Christine is the founder of Patchwork Productions, through which she has Produced a number of award winning films, and secured MEDIA development funding. Her first feature was the political thriller W.M.D (*** ‘Gripping’ – The Guardian), which is represented by Independent Film Company (London to Brighton, We Need to Talk About Kevin). It was one of the first UK features to employ a reverse distribution model, with simultaneous UK theatrical release & iTunes launch in 2009.

Christine is also Executive Producer of debut feature films Life Just Is by Alex Barrett (nominated for the Michael Powell Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2012), released in the UK by Independent Film Company, and Verity’s Summer by Palme d’Or Nominee Ben Crowe (Winner of Best Actress at the London Independent Film Festival 2012).

Mentored by Producer Damien Jones (Kidulthood, The History Boys, The Iron Lady) as part of Guiding Lights, Christine has over fifteen years experience as a film, video and event Producer. Her clients include BT, Nokia, Barclays, GSK, Sanofi, Volvo, BlackBerry, Ford, and Human Rights Watch. She is a member of Women in Film & TV and a fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts (FRSA).
